SEED Consortium is committed to protecting your privacy online. We will treat any personal information, (which means data from which you can be identified, including your name, address, email address and the like) that you provide to us, or that we obtain from you, in accordance with the provisions of Directive 95/46/EC.

Personal Information

SEED has a strong commitment to data security. Any personal information needed to deploy and run SEED pilots will be reasonably assured by putting in place any required procedures to safeguard and secure the information you provide to us online.

As a minimum set of measures, we encourage you to change your passwords often, using a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure that you are using a secure browser as you surf the internet. However, (where applicable) you will be responsible for, and must take all due care to protect, any user ID or password that we have provided for your use on our websites.

We will not provide any personal information to any third parties without your permission unless required by the law or the judicial authorities. Your information may be provided to SEED Consortium partners and European Commission and/or to third party suppliers representing European Commission, in order to fulfil project processes (eg, project workshops, review projects, conference registration etc.)

What personal information do we obtain and how do we obtain it?
The information collection process is usually obtained through the information provided by your browser and through the use of a 'cookie', or other information software, to obtain information from visitors to our sites. The information obtained by these means is not personal information, but it does allow us to improve the experience of visitors to our website. What use do we make of personal information?
We do not sell trade or rent your information to other parties unless we have first obtained your consent. We may provide statistics about traffic patterns and related site information - but we will not supply any personal information that would enable you to be identified.
